Traveling as Couple
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and knew the area. They gave great directions and answered question about a restaurant we were looking for and didn't know the name of. The only information we had was about the food and the type of building it was in. Business Traveler
Clean room, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The towels in the bathroom were among the softest that I have experienced and that includes much more expensive hotels. I rate my stay a 10.

Traveling as Couple
The Holiday Inn Express was everything one would expect. It was convenient to the freeway plus the town of Fortuna. I was there for the Redwoods Marathon and it was close enough to that while being close to the wonderful seafood in Eureka. ...read more

Family with Teens
Very nice room, marble, with travel iron, hair dryer, microwave, mini refrigerator, and beautiful linens. The only drawback (which would not stop me from staying here again) was the access to the 2nd floor rooms. Only one side of the hotel has parking, and the stairs were far and if one had limited mobility, there would be a slight problem getting to your room safely after dark. ...read more

Suit with hot tub above lobby, noise echoed into room could here every word spoken in lobby all night. It was a meeting place for employees.

Family with Young Children
If you stay make sure they don't try to give you a smoking room that's been sprayed with deodorant. All you end up with is a stinker room. I'm not sure why this was done, there didn't seem to be a lack of rooms. ...read more
